How do I get from Phuket Airport (HKT) to my hotel?
The airport is in the far north. Taxis to major beaches like Patong or Kata take about 1 hour and cost around 800-1,000 THB. Alternatively, the Phuket Smart Bus runs down the west coast and is much cheaper (100 THB).
When is the best time to visit Phuket?
The dry season runs from November to April, offering calm seas and sunny skies. The monsoon season (May to October) brings heavy rain and dangerous rip currents (watch for red flags on the beach), though hotels are much cheaper.
Should I rent a scooter in Phuket?
